I was searching Deviantart for a fun meme to do, and I hopped along this blank meme by :iconzombidj:

This was so fun to do.

#10: Pokémon Emerald: The Pokémon games have been a big part of my life, so it wouldn't feel right to not include a Pokémon game in my list. Even though Pokémon Gold is probably my favourite due it being my very first game I owned, I think Pokémon Emerald is, to this day still, the best game that the Pokémon franchise has to offer. The graphics were just about the best a GBA could bring, it had probably the most catchy tunes in any Pokémon game, and, come on, it had Rayquaza. Instant fan-gasm.

#9: Prince of Persia and the Sands of Time: This game is kind of the predecessor to Assassin's Creed, gameplay-wise. You run through ancient ruins, jumping off ledges, swinging from poles, etc. (Assassin's Creed 2/Brotherhood, anyone?) It's a shame that the coming of Assassin's Creed pretty much caused everyone to forget that the Prince still existed... I still like Assassin's Creed though, but Prince of Persia and the Sands of time is a game not to forget. Fell down a deep pit with deadly spikes waiting for yuo at the bottom? Just turn back time and it never happened!

#8: Jak and Daxter: the Precursor Legacy: Probably one of the greatest platformer I've ever played. Tight controls, gorgeous environments (at the time!) bright visuals... And Daxter. Naughty Dog had already sold the rights to Crash Bandicoot at the time, but then there came Jak and Daxter! Don't mind Dexter, he's just mad that his and Jak's game didn't make it higher on the list.

#7: Beyond Good & Evil: Do you have this game? Probably not, because nearly no-one does. This game sold like crap, which is probably one of the biggest shames in the entire video game history. This game easily ranks up there as one of PlayStation 2's best, with its unique storyline. Oh gamers, if only you put your money where your mouth is...

#6: Spyro: Year of the Dragon: Same as with the Pokémon games, Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage! is probably my 'favourite' in the series, but where Spyro 2 lay the foundation, Year of the Dragon finished it all. It might've been more of the same to a lot of people, but Spyro: Year of the Dragon was superior in every way. Bigger, better levels, more bosses and sub-bosses, more treasure to collect, more characters to play as, and les backtracking made more skill involved. I freakin' love the Spyro trilogy on the PS1...

#5: Oddworld: Abe's Oddyssee: Guys, I'm so freakin' sorry for the drawing of Abe. He already looks a little awkward, but this... Look, I'm sorry, okay? Anyway, in Abe's Oddyssee, you play a slave who has to escape from the factory he works in, and help to escape his people who are also enslaved. Abe is such a likeable character, and oh god, the atmosphere...

#4: Grand Theft Auto V: There haven't been many games I've had more fun with than with GTA V. The story (even though not many people like it that much compared to GTA IV San Andreas) is very interesting, taking place in modern society, with the economic crisis and all, the characters are very likeable and deep, and of course, there is lots of stuff to do in a world filled with details big and small. And the online function, even though it got off on a bumpy start, is awesome.

#3: Grand Theft Auto IV: Yes, I actually prefer GTA IV to GTA V! The main reason? Niko. I still like Niko better than Micheal, Franklin or Trevor, and as there still was only one character to focus on, we got more chance to get to know Niko. True, it took a lot of time to get used to the heavy driving controls, and they were a lot better in GTA V, but in fact, they were still revolutionary because this was the first game in which I actually felt I was driving an actual car. The amount of detail in GTA IV was unprecedented at the time, too. GTA V was brilliant, but GTA IV will always have a special place in my heart.

#2: Mass Effect: Okay guys, let me get one thing straight first: FemShep all the way. I drew the actual John Shepard there, but Jane Shepard obviously has the better voice actor, even though both suck ass. Mass Effect is probably the greatest francise out there, and the first one is still my personaly favourite. The second Mass Effect still had a lot of RPG elements in there, but focused a bit more on action, and Mass Effect 3 took all the choices you made in Mass Effect 1 and 2, and made you finally face the consequences of your choices (if you look away from the disappointing ending. Screw you, Bioware). The original Mass Effect still had a sense of exploration that the sequels just didn't had.

#1: Silent Hill: My current favourite video game of all time. The Silent Hill series is a series with ups and downs. The first Silent Hill shook the world, the second was amazing which many fans consider to be the best installment, from Silent Hill 3 the series went downhill a bit, but with Silent Hill: Downpour the series showed it was still alive and kicking. Still, the very first is my personal favourite with the most likeable characters and for gving the biggest "what the hell just happened?" feeling to me. And no, Harry, we haven't seen a little girl with short, black hair.
